As part of our continued efforts to improve services to our consumers, the Locust Valley Water District now offers E-meters. With this upgrade, you now have direct and secure access to your water usage data via a mobile and desktop application called EyeOnWater®. The District’s EyeOnWater® suite of available tools provides a platform for residents to review and analyze their usage patterns with up-to-the-hour accuracy. The application also offers easy to understand graphs and the ability to identify and monitor potential leaks and set notification alerts.

Installation costs, including manpower and material, for meters 1-1/2” or greater are the responsibility of the consumer. If you would to prefer to downsize the meter, a 1” meter is available at no charge.

The main benefit of the EyeOnWater® app is that it will detect and notify the consumer of leaks within 24 hours versus at the end of the District’s billing cycle which is completed quarterly. At this time the consumer can rectify any issues immediately which conserves water and saves money.

Simply create a profile at EyeOnWater^® on your phone, mobile device or desktop and you will be able to monitor your water usage using the instructions below.

After sign in, EyeOnWater® lets you see how much water you’re using and provides tools to help you use water more efficiently. The site acts like a dashboard that is organized in modules or sections that let you quickly see how much water you’re using, whether you have a potential leak, and more.
